Troy Todd, Ph.D., BCN is trained in biofeedback and neurofeedback and is a Board Certified Associate Fellow in neurofeedback. BCIA‘s neurofeedback certifications the only program that is recognized by the three major international biofeedback/neurofeedback organizations: the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB), the Biofeedback Foundation of Europe (BFE), and the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR).
Dr. Todd is proficient in several forms of therapy, including many types of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He has found that the “positive” and “client centered therapies” tend to gain the fastest and longest lasting improvements. He is licensed in Colorado as a Clinical Psychologist (#3298), and has over 15 years experience as a clinical psychologist.
Dr. Todd holds three degrees from various fields in science: a Bachelor’s in Zoology, a Master’s in Biology, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. His formal education totals 11 years. Before becoming a psychologist, he worked in a human physiology/performance laboratory (IEEM). He began his career as an Active Duty psychologist in the Air Force, where he took special courses in Aviation Psychology, was deployed in Afghanistan in support of the Army for OEF, and served nine years active duty, and continues to serve as a reservist.
